Para a alegria de muitos, e desmentido a notícia do The Sun (UK), a gravação do clipe Headlines (Friendship Never Ends) foi um sucesso (de acordo com o site oficial).

Foi um dia longo mas relaxante, e com empolgação no ar, porque as Spice Girls iam fazer o clipe juntas novamente. Vestidas com roupas diferentes, as garotas aproveitaram a gravação, que teve como diretor o mundialmente renomado fotógrafo e cinegrafista Anthony Mandler.

Victoria disse: “Foi maravilhoso gravar com as garotas novamente.”

Entre as gravações, Mel B saiu para o corredor para ensaiar sua dança com Maksim Chmerkovskiy, para o Dancing With The Stars (EUA).

Emma, que participou do Strictly Come Dancing deu alguns conselhos sobre danças para Mel B, e as Spice Girls deram alguns conselhos para Maksim de como conduzir Mel B… Isso é Spice Girls!

A choradeira foi inevitável no encontro das cinco Spice Girls, para gravar o clipe de divulgação da música “Headlines (Friendship never ends)“, na última sexta-feira, no estúdio no Pinewood. Além da emoção, as cantoras choraram de cansaço. Em vez de cantar, elas posaram de diva o dia inteiro, noticiou o “The Sun“.

Emma Bunton chorou como um bebê depois da gravação, que foi até três horas da manhã. Mel B, que viajou de Los Angeles, passou o dia reclamando do cansaço pós-vôo.

Geri Halliwell insistiu que queria uma garrafa de água particular e atrasou a filmagem porque precisava meditar. Victoria Beckham levou uma assistente, que a seguia carregando frutas e champanhe. A sessão foi uma verdadeira maratona para Mel C, que estava desesperada para ir logo para casa.

“Atrasou demais. O diretor estava arrancando os cabelos e ameaçando ir embora. As garotas estavam mortas, Emma chorava muito e as filmagens não acabavam. Geri meditava e fazia coisas espitrituais estranhas. Foi como antes, só que em maior proporção. Eram os egos se batendo“, contou uma fonte.
